Topic: squidgaurd & JBennett RPM does not display list of urls

Hi
I installed the JBennett squidguard rpm, the black lists and the smeserver rpm ...
But when i click on view there is nothing displayed exept " Contents of the trusted domains file:"

what's gone wrong, shouldn't it display a list of the of the blacklists ???

No. It displays contents of the trusted domains file (the domains you set as trusted) not the contents of the blacklist.

If we want to be technical about it, it will display user-added trusted/untrusted domains/urls/expressions and full-access/no-access by IP address.  The blacklist details are at /var/lib/squidguard.  If using the shalla blacklists, then you will see a lot of categories that I didn't use.

ok .. but then how do i see the catagories and assign acls ?

You can see the categories by runing the config show squidguard command.
And if you want to add a category (listed under /var/lib/squidguard) use the config setprop squidguard Squidguard_Block \adult,\aggressive,... command. Just make sure that you enter all the categories you want to block.
