Topic: Web interface not working probably

Hello folks

I have just reinstalled med SME7 for the 5th time. It seems to be seriously unstable when I install PHP5 on it, but it has not kept me from installing PHP5 again (though I have been looking for an alternative to SME, any suggestions).

The latest problem I have ran into is that the webinterface is not working probably. E.g. I can add a new user, but I can not activate the user account. When I try to active the acount I just get a white page in the browser.

The white page indicates a php error (note, I'm running PHP5).

I might have a clue to this problem, else I have another issue, the path varable returns
# echo $PATH
/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin

I can see on one of my friends server that I'm probably missing quite a few.

Anyone has any suggestions?

I gave up on PHP5/MySQL5 for now, I couldn't get a new install to work, and my 'working' system wasn't after applying some other software updates!

It has been suggested by people closer to CentOS that we wait for SME8, any one know when that will be?
