SAIL and the CDR
« on: June 06, 2007, 09:16:20 AM »
Hi Guys, I have installed the latest versons of sail (2.1.15-468) and asterisk ( 1.4.1-7)but the DCR panel still shows no records, there are records in the log files, am I missing something ?
This is on a clean install of sme 7.1.3 the only thing I did at the time was install the uk sounds rpm.

I also seem to have an echo problem both on a softphone and also on a Linksys PAP2 with a standard handset. This is not noticable on extension to extension but on outgoing calls using both voipbuster and voipstunt, anyone see something similar?

Regards...

Hi,

Re CDR

Check that you have "log CDR to MySQL" turned ON in Globals.

Re Echo,

We have no reported echo on 1.4, either on SIP or TDM channels.  It has been running live on our office switch (over Gamma and ISDN BRI) for over a month now without problems. However, we have no experience of using softphones or ATA's (other than Channel banks).  All of our testing is done with SNOM, Aastra and Cisco/Linksys  SIP handsets.  We've no experience with VoipStunt or Voipbuster either I'm afaraid, although a quick look at the two websites would suggest that they are one and the same carrier.  Have you run echo free with this carrier with an earlier release of Asterisk?

Kind Regards
