Topic: ipb on sme

Im trying to install ipb on an SME server, when you install you get this mesages chmod cache folder to 777 and 2 other folders, when i'm going to my ftp client and trying to do so igrt this: 550 cache: Permission denied and it dosen't matter what i'm setting in the ibay.

Anybody know what to do, i'm sure it's me who have done anything wrong, but what?

Now i got ipb installet, but i can't install anything to ipb, no matter what i try to install, sme say you have no write permission, is it posible to set the whole ibay with write permission?

1. Make a group and set the proper permissions and a user to that group (or just set as write admin and set it with the admin account)
or
2. Use ssh and log in as root and then set the proper permissions via console

But you should be able to set permissions if you managed to upload the files.
