Hello everyone,
We had a bad hard drive controller (with two hard drives in software RAID 1) which resulted in many error messages
"<server name> kernel: hda: drive_cmd: error=0x04Aborted Command"
and eventually led to a lockup.
During troubleshooting we had the squid cache give errors
"WARNING: Disk space over limit: 168696 KB > 102400 KB"
and we had another error
"<server name> kernel: microcode: error! Bad data in microcode data file"
We cleared the cache and I would not be surprised if the hardware error caused the cache error but does anyone know what is meant by:
"<server name> kernel: microcode: error! Bad data in microcode data file"
and how to fix it.
We are watching the logs now and this error has not been seen since (knock on wood).
Thank for your help
Kevin
