I have built an FTP SME Server 7.0 FTP Server:
With Web Sheres, User Remot Access installed:
For Testing I have setup an account testing and Password T_esting1
 I have been testing a number of client FTP programs:
SmartFTP uploads and downloads but It gives ne to many errors!
I just can't get FileZilla to work?
Putty is not good for the client's.
WinSCP is to run to the root but dose not want to connect to testing.
CuteFTP Works fine I have an older version CUTFTP32?


Now Lets see what You Recommend?

Latest version of WinSCP set to FTP not sFTP/SCP.

You could also install the free dungog contrib smeserver-remoteuseraccess (here's a link with instructions: http://wiki.contribs.org/FTP_Access_to_Ibays#1._Configure_the_free_dungog_repository) then enable shell access for your users which would allow WinSCP to connect in its default 'scp' mode...
