Topic: multiple copies of emails being delivered

I recently replaced an older SME 6 email only machine with a SME7 email only. this is the only Linux based box on the network. it connects through a router and a cable modem to the internet.

all of the client machines are WindowsXP. i am using POP3 as the email. all of the machines use OUTLOOK as the email client.

what is happening is that some emails are downloaded 4 or 5 times before they are removed from the server. what could be the cause and the cure for this.

Check/search bugzilla, I seem to recall something like this being reported before.
