Agreed.  Developers hate to document things and it is great to see the community step up and help us get the information down somewhere.

I had also been meaning to post such a comment as yours John.

People have done a great job adding all the information to the Wiki.
It's impressive and useful.

I also agree, but a lot of things are still missing...

Here's a list of undocumented contribs:
- DDClient
- DisplayConf
- Ezmlm
- MXBackup
- QMHandle
- Password
- PhpSysInfo
- LPRNG-Monitor
- PDF over LAN
- Login-Scripts
- Shell
- SMB Status
- SNORT
- SQUID Cache Mgt
- Lazy Admin Tools
- Apache error
- eaccelerator
- mod_perl
- mod_deflate
- modindex

And maybe more...
So anyone can feel free to update  8)
Anyway, thanks to anyone who took the time to write down some helpful articles!

With the exception of the DEV GUIDE (special access needed for changes), all DOC BUGS requested have either been fulfilled or are in process. If you want something done, fill out a bug:

http://bugs.contribs.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&product=SME+Server+Documentation&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailqa_contact2=1&emailcc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Bug+Number&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=

I & the others (mainly snoble) certainly aren't going to roam the boards to find out what's needed to be doc'd.

It would be nice if the forum faithful, people who try and help others in the forum (rmitchell, cactus, etc...), would fill out bugs to be fulfilled. Then we'd be working as a team.

Thanks for the compliment and the heads-up, I will try to do so... :-)
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than its worth ~ Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)
