Problems with Webshare
« on: September 25, 2007, 11:43:30 PM »
Hi all,

I downloaded and installed perl-Apache-Htpasswd-1.5.9-1.1.el3.rf.noarch.rpm and smeserver-webshare-1.0.0-8dmay.noarch.rpm and did a "signal-event post-upgrade; signal-event reboot".

I can create a share but I can't add a user. It seems to me webshare doesn't save the username/password correctly

What could be wrong?

Please post a report at Bugzilla under the "contrib" section.  There is a entry for smeserver-webshare (need a maintainer). In this way, this issue will be on the records, and may be solved for you.  Thanks.
chris.

Hi all,

I solved the problem by installing php 5.1.6 from centosplus.
I then encountered another problem: I could not open the server manager anymore (500 internal server error). That problem is solved following this threat server-manager 500 Internal Server Error after update PHP5
