Hi,


last night the electricity failed and the sarg data collection did not run.
do i have to run this manualy to get the data or will it do that automaticly the next night for both the nights??


if not how can i run it manually??

/usr/bin/sarg -l /var/log/squid/access.log.daily -o /var/www/sarg/daily -d "$(date --date "1 day ago" +%d/%m/%Y)" > /dev/null 2>&1

Each sarg run specifically looks at the day prior to the day that sarg is running (--date "1 day ago").

So, if you want graphs for yesterday, you should run the sarg daily cron job manually before midnight tonight using: /etc/cron.daily/sarg

It's about the daily report  not about the one-shot or am i wrong here?

This is to do the data collection for the past day.
it add's the data from your log file of the proxy into the database of sarc

Out of that database sarc is able to generate reports on daily, weekly, monthly, yearly bases.

For some reason also for me the one-shot does not work.
I was thinking that he needs more info of more time.
but now a year change passed i do not know how mutch more data it needs.

does anybody know what one-shot report does? and what data it needs???

Just type sarg at the command line and look at the one-shot link
