Topic: fetchmail problem

 Cron /etc/startmail

> fetchmail: couldn't time-check the run-control file
> fetchmail: lock creation failed.


every thing else work, can connect and send email, share the internet.
Have problems setting up receiving multi drop email.

Hi

Had the same prob (as well as fetchmail not parsing its config file properly).

Parsing error was fixed by not using a password with the first char being numeric; once this was fixed the error as you described occured.

Upgrade to 5.1.2 as per bug list on this server resolves this error.
