Topic: installing ezmlm

Hi

I am installing ezmlm from the howto, but when I get to issue:

/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade

It just hangs.

what am I doing wrong?

I tried installing the same a couple of weeks ago but found that the second rpm wasnt in the ftp directory.

It makes some major changes to the system and after i did a reboot of the system it was dead.

Had to do a fresh install.

Yes, I downloaded what seemed to be an update to the second file.

So I used:

e-smith-ezmlm-idx-0.1.3-19.noarch.rpm

and

ezmlm-idx-std-0.40-2.i386.rpm

The lists "panel" appeared in the server maanger.

It also looks as though my emial is not now being collected, or as least delivered, and webmail is not working either (see another thread).

Anyone any idea how i can recover without a re-install?

Solved, did a re-install, but just chose the "update" mode.
