Topic: Witting Code for SME - guidance

Hi All,

I am looking into attaching a electricity power meter to my SME Box via a RS232 cable.

I would like some guidance as to were I can be pointed to write my own code that can read the power meter and generate data that can be displayed in a web page on the server.

I have programmed in C, PHP, Perl for Windows and web pages but never for a Linux environment.

Please can you help?
