Unable to make pptp connections

Hi,
In  SME 7.2, I am not able to make a VPN connection using pptp from Windows XP.

I get the following errors in /var/log/messages

Kernel version: 2.6.9-42.0.10.EL
# rpm -qa|grep ppp

Hi,
You're running an older kernel, have you updated lately?! I believe some bugs with pptp have been resolved recently.
