Topic: CHANGE THE DEFAULT GATEWAY

I have 2 seperate SME 7.2 servers one on the public internet and one on a private network. I would like to change the second default gateway to point to the first gateway for internet. how can I accomplish this?
I assume I need to add a route telling it " route add gw 10.0.0.1" but it does not recognise the "gw".

Hi Brian,

On the second SME login to the console as admin and run through the "configure this server" option.  This will allow you to set the external ip address and the gateway.

Or the gateway address in server-only mode.

Brian, you should read the Users Guide a few times. There's lots of good (and useful) stuff there.
