Hello

i was stupid to remove it cause i have setup sme on a via-embedded board with 128MB Ram (for playschool-small-office use)
and sometime clam set the load to 4.00 or 5.24, i have made a fresh default setup only with
added phpmyadmin and nmap modules. After sometime the harddrive startup to swap extremely
that i logged in with ssh and run top to see what happens. The clamd was taking to much system
resource. In case i only use it for intranet i tried to remove the daemon. Now nmap shows no 80/443 listening.
The bad thing is that iam not at my office to backup the system disk.

Another question (sorry i am a old debian user) is how to make an advanced setup to partion the disks
like under debian. (I want to use sme cause i am not a programmer and can't setup a mailserver with webmail/i am stupid :-(
sorry / we want to use webmail as message board for all girls who work here around the clock)

I removed clamav+clamd inside server-manager, after reboot no access displayed
thx tom

With only 128Mb of RAM you should NEVER turn on anti virus scanning or spam filtering.

All you needed to do was to disable antivirus scanning in the server manager Email & Antivirus panels !

To fix try:
yum update clamav
signal-event post-upgrade
reboot
...

Hello

thank you i am new in sme and i have to learn to think
that all is compiled with templates..

i have switched off clam, may be a good idea that a install skript
looks for system ram and auto hide clamav menu under 128MB Ram size

You should have read the system specification requirements (in the manual).
Typically 1Gb RAM would be appropriate.
