Hello to all users of SME Server.
It has been temporarily mounted an online system translation, in order to fully translate console files of SME Distribution.

To this must be addressed to:

http://www.unixlan.com.ar:8888

Register and then with your user name in order to translate the un-translated files. For the moment are only available console files. For this access:

http://www.unixlan.com.ar:8888/projects/sme7bc/

And then to the desired language to be translated.

Once translated each file can be downloaded either PO or MO of the whole language and send them through a new bug:

http://bugs.contribs.org/

I´d like to ask you to implement a ts2po tool on site.
Many translations already have a .rpm or other files using .ts format and that would improve greatly to speed of process.

BTW: I already started to use your tool. THANKS A LOT.

AND I think I found a bug (or I´m just a moron!): the suggest button should put a translation who translator is not sure?  I think it do nothing!
I wrote some and press SUGGEST and lost the translations.

Am I on a BAD monday ?

You are right about merge already translated files.

Related Suggest button only admin can see your suggested translation, but now all translators can access this feature. Click at "Show Editing Functions" and then at "Review Suggestions".

For translation you must press "Submit" button. If you want to add a note for translators, you can fill the form "Translator comments", or if you are not sure about the quality of your tranaslation, check "Fuzzy" checkbox.

And what about the web interface ... at Brazilian Portuguese we already have 80%~90% done.
Could it be imported/merged ? I have an RPM and also original files... RPM is available at www.abandonemicrosoft.net/publico/

For the moment web panels can't translate via Pootle because I have not finished a convertion tool between xml files (web panels) and PO handled by pootle.

I´m not sure how/if it works... but it´s there.

Thank for your suggestion Jader.
Now we have finish the scripts to convert between formats (a lot of thanks to Stephen Noble for the hard work).
About ts2po we have viewing and analizing this and other tools, and the most exactly is xml2po from gnome.
When finishing the work probably Stephen make a RPM with these tools.

Thank you for your hosting offer. It is a big resource! But for the moment we have no problem with space and BW, and because the final location is at contribs.or (maybe translator.contribs.org).
