Errors in spamd/current - warn failed to run x
« on: January 30, 2008, 04:43:53 PM »
Okay I am new to SME Server and still classify myself as a Linux newbie. I wasnt sure where to post this, so hope for my first post I don't make a hash of it.

I have taken a look at the spamd/current log file and the RBL lookups appear to have been operating successfully until 25th January and then something has gone wrong, although I dont know what. I've set out an extract of the log below.

It looks like RBL lookups are failing and log entries are still be written like those above,  which is worrying!  No idea where I go from here, any help appreicated.

Good catch Paul.

Things like this should not be reported here, instead please do what the headerlines say whenever you create a forum post:
"Don't report problems here - Please report bugs and potential bugs in the bug tracker"

Please follow the link to the bug tracker and report the issue there. That's where the developers will pick up but posts in the forums about problems can get lost.

Sorry  I wasn't too sure whether it was bug or whether somewhere along the line I had knackered something up being a newbie. Didn't want to file a bug and waste time if I had been a donut.

I'll file a bug report. Thanks.
