setting up groupware
« on: March 07, 2008, 05:46:16 AM »
Hi All
I am trying to use groupware for cantacts, calendar mail etc. The problem I am having is where does egroupware get the smtp and pop3 servers from. Is this taken from the sme server, and if so where do I find documentation from on how to set this up. Is tehre an import facility from ms outlook

Thanks

Lional

I see it on the configuration panel. There seems to be only one option for pop3, smtp and imap. What if the smtp and pop3 servers are not the same. What is the best option for selecion for email retrieval mode. We are using a third party to store the mails so do we put their servers in here.

Thanks

You need to read the manual for groupware.

There is global and user configuration.

I have gone through the manual and I know where to set up the servers, however I on;y see a imap incoming mail server. Does egroupware cater for pop3

Thats in advance
