Hi,

Can someone explain specifically what the cron run-parts message is?

I have a Cron message coming each day:

Subject: Cron <root@oneill-gateway> run-parts /etc/cron.daily

/etc/cron.daily/backupsme:

Using APP_HOME:    : /usr/local/obm
Using BACKUP_SET   : Backupsme
Using BACKUP_TYPE  : FILE
Using SETTING_HOME :
Using DELTA_MODE   :
Using DEBUG_MODE   : NO-DEBUG

This all happened since I manually initiated my backup script I have put in cron.daily, but the backup didn't finish.  Now it gets done everyday and finishes successfully, but I still get this message.  The regular cron.daily backup finishes before this message is generated by the system.

How do I get rid of the message coming in everyday?  (I have tried restarting the server)

Your cron job (which you created) must run without producing any output, if you don't want cron to send you email.
