Hi there everybody

I'm serchin' for a web filter or Bad word filter to
not allow a few internet pages.
All users are using firefox with the SME Proxy. So maybe there is a way
to set rules on the proxy best would be an web surface to configure.

but don't see disguardian on my sme server web

Did you purchase the dungog-dansguardian package ?
You need to do so if you want a server manager GUI panel.
If so contact dungog for support.


If not then you have only installed the GPL version that is configured via command line.
It's easy to do, and does not need frequent adjustment once set up. See

you need to read carefully the page:

smeserver-dansguardian

This provides all the SME intergration to get dansguardian running
you will need to hand edit the configuration files in /etc/dansguardian to suit. Documentation here http://wiki.contribs.org/Dansguardian should help.

yum install dansguardian smeserver-dansguardian

Alternatively you can purchase dungog-dansguardian

dungog-dansguardian

Provides a server-manager panel to help in the ongoing configuration. You can use existing or make new SME groups to give users different levels of Filtering.

if you want the web iterface, you have to buy it
