email and web not working since update
« on: June 02, 2008, 02:02:06 PM »
My SME is running server only mode. Router forwards pop3, smtp, web(80) vpn (1723) all to my server.

I did the following updates this morning and after the reconfig I have no been able to receive email via my server. I can sent fine and and can receive mail directly from other pop accounts.

When I try from WAN side to connect to my website I get 113 no route to host. When I test my email from WAN side it get: ERROR: Error while reading data from host xxxxx.com.zz.:25, No route to host.

I have removed the router, replaced it with a bridged modem and used the sme as server-gateway and I still have the same problems.

Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,

John A

Your best bet is to report this to the bugtracker, BTW you do not mention what you did update... please do so in the bugreport.

I tried to login to lodge a bug report, but it rejects my user name and password. Tried to create a new account, go an email confirming it but when I try to login it say that the  The username or password you entered is not valid.

So I will have to try and run up a temp server to see if that will solve my problem.

You have to authenticate with your e-mailaddress and the password you are supplied, it is not the username you use in the forums (unfortunately).
