Topic: how to connect to hylafax server which client is suitable for hylafax

i have installed hylafax server in sme server 7.3 but i am facing problem configuring client which client is suitable for hylafax server i have installed  hermesfree but i got some error than i tried hylfaxclient but no connection error pls do help regarding fax client how to configure

You could test WinPrintHylafax. It´s free and easy to configure.
If it do not work, search on Hylafax forums about how to configure or solve your problems.

how did you install hylafax?
have you created users in hylafax with "faxadduser"?

BTW, this is IMO off topic in this forum as it is not an sme's issue

yes faxadduser and don't forget to add modem in the setup as well it has been about a year since i have setup a hylafax server but you have to add the modem as well in the setup on hylafax server check what commport the modem is on before you run faxadd modem ttys0 or ttys1 go on to the hylafax site there is a as certain command to add the user and modem part is quite easy
