X-windows components?
« on: June 18, 2008, 03:57:16 AM »
Hi,

As far as I understand, there is no X GUI on SME. Why then does my 7.3 server offer me to update xorg-x11 components?

Sorry if this seems to be a dumb question.

As some libraries are required by other packages on SME Server I guess.

The packages are also installed on a stock 7.3 server, without contribs.

No, the only add-ons installed are "Disk Usage" and "System Monitor", both in the server manager.

Just curious.

Thanks for that. I will have to further hone my search skills. I searched for 'x-windows' and that came up with nothing useful.

I remembered seeing such a post so I just searched "xorg".
