SMTP off
« on: June 18, 2008, 03:40:49 PM »
Hi Forum

For the case that a customer not pays: I would like to have that he can still receive but not send emails anymore.
I think to switch SMTP off - do you confirm that? How do I switch it off & on? This is for the whole server. Is there a possibility to switch it off for a single user?

Best regards
AlexG

As I understand things, turning off SMTP would turn off e-mail altogether if the server is set up as standard. It would also turn off e-mails sent to the admin account. Not a good idea.

I may be wrong however.
