The server stops booting after the message:
mounting root and file system with write and read acces    [ok]
After the ok he is nothing doing.

Any idea?

What is the history,

New install? server down when you came to work? rebooting after updates?????

The power was off.

For your information: I have a backup (APC USB), tested the APC many times before and it was working well.
I switched everything on and now the server is doing nothing after the message (see above).
I tried to login over server-manager - not possible, with putty - also not possible.

I pressed now 'y' while booting for checking the file system. There is following error: 2,2% are not depending together.

I tried now an upgrade (from CD). The server stops at the same place.
