Topic: IMAP folders deletion in Entourage

Hello,
when using MS Entourage for MAC in combination with IMAP a strange thing appears: when hitting backspace or delete the whole active folder in the IMAP gets deleted; it doesn't get moved to trash but completely removed! When doing the same with, for example Thunderbird for Windows, the folders is being moved to the trash.
Is there a way to allow users to create new folders but prevent them from deleting existing folders in their own IMAP account. I have tried changing permissions, but that doesn't do the job.

does the same thing happen with thunderbird for the mac have you tried it
i now very little about mac's is entourage outlook for a mac
also have you logged in to web mail on the SME server to have a look if it is still there becuase you may not be subscribed to all the imp directories
