Topic: url /server manager not found

I have been unable to log into the server manager.

when using a local computer with the address http://www.myhostname.xxx/server-manager in the search bar of the browser it says

Not Found the requested URL /server-manager can not be found.

I can see the webpage of the sme server on the local network but have not checked it externally on the internet recently?

Nope, that won't work. It needs to be either http://Your.local.ip.address/server-manager. Or http://your_system_host_name/server-manager. your_system_host_name is the same name you would see if you browse to the server through Windows View Network Computers. Remember this in not on the WWW so that is not included in the URL.
