Buondì.. terminata in nottata la sostituzione del server con un moderno bello, affidabile e anche un po figo ML110 mi appresto a installare 3 contrib che mi sono utili; uno di questi (quello in oggetto) mi ha fatto dannare tutta la notte.
Dopo aver installato i pacchetti che servono come da howto dell'installazione faccio partire da console
/usr/sbin/sensors-detect
per effettuare il riconoscimento e la configurazione dei sensori.
Questo il risultato...

da qui si evince che qualcosa la procedura guidata trova... infatti poco dopo

il file nel mio sistema non esiste... possibile che con le versioni aggiornate di sme sia stato spostato o me lo devo creare io?

Qua penso la risposta non sia semplice... almeno per me... ho da studiare...

Il file
/etc/sysconfig/lm_sensors
contiene i moduli da caricare nel sistema... che nel caso in questione sarebbero appunto "i2c-isa" e "bmcsensors".
Tali moduli vengono passati a "/etc/rc.d/init.d/lm_sensors" che quindi li dovrebbe caricare all'avvio... ma a quanto pare non lo fa in quanto se da shell do "sensors" mi risponde sempre picche...

Dove sbaglio?!?!
Ci sto sbattendo addosso dalle 4:00 AM... ho finito le idee... qualcuno mi indica lo spigolo corretto dove sbattere la testa?
