I would like to Search the file system for duplicate files.
Is there a built in utility for this?

It's not included w/ SME, but you should be able to install 'hardlink' to search for identical files and optionally turn the copies into hardlinks: http://linux.die.net/man/1/hardlink

The 'dag' repository has an RPM: http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/hardlink/

Hi there, I got the rpm, installed it no problem.
There is no documentation on how to use it.
Running the file, no manual etc.

I e-mailed the author - no reply.
I would use a windows utility, but I need to scour user homes as well as ibays, so have some permission issues there.
Ideally I would run it right on the server.
