On using the mISDN rpm's i'm getting an dependency error:

Code: [Select]

Error: Missing Dependency: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.9-78.EL is needed by package misdn-kmdl-2.6.9-78.EL
Can this easily be resolved (sorry... linux noob)?

What is the output from

uname -r

?

# uname -r gives me:
2.6.9-67.0.7.ELsmp

and which misdn-kmdl are you trying to install?

show me the yum (or rpm) statement you used which gave you the dependency  error

I'm using:
# yum install misdn-kmdl-2.6.9-67.0.7.ELsmp-1.1.8-3.RHL4.i386.rpm  misdn asterisk-misdn --enablerepo=atrpms

and in the directory i'm in the misdn-kmld rpm is present.

OK - it's to do witn the way Atrpms build 'em.

Grab misdn from here..

save it into the same directory as your kmdl rpm

do

yum localinstall misdn-kmdl-yada-yada-yada
yum localinstall misdn-yada-yada-yaga

don't forget to install asterisk-misdn from atrpms
