Setting sme up as a development webserver

Hi All
I am currently running wamp from a windows xp machine. What I would like to do is to run a webserver using sme running apache, php, and mysql. I woulkd also need to run cgi scripts
Can sme handle this and if so how do I go about setting it up

There's nothing to do, sme default configuration already does all that (and more eg mail server too).
In server manager, Information Bays panel you would enable Execution of dynamic content setting for the ibay in question & of course Public Internet access.

Copy all your web server files to the ibay share to the html folder and/or cgi-bin folder, using say Windows Explorer.

Download the iso, create a CD and start installing. Make sure ALL your hardware is Linux CentOS4.6 compatible.

Mary is right....all the things you need come "right out of the box" in SME server.

There is one contrib under the contribs section - Jinzora - which will help with media and video streaming.
It works very well and can be installed using the how-to from the contribs page.......
