Topic: can i update smeserver 7.3 like allways or a must to wait for 7.4?

i have a lot of packages for update since 15/09/2008, i didnt aply these updates because i see that lots of them say centos 4.7 something, so i wait for smeserver 7.4 but today the 7.4 was announced like beta, so it not safe update right now? and we have to wait to 7.4 final to do it? thanks.
i wait for your answers an sorry about my english.

The updates in base and updates are from centos 7.4
you can update if you wish

The smeserver updates are still being verified
they are in smeupdates-testing (beta)

later they will be pushed to smeupdates  (production)
and a new iso SME 7.4 Final will be issued

I have the same problem, update stops due to 'Missing Dependency'

I ran my update 2 days ago and it worked flawlessly, so the problem is not on the servers i guess...maybe every1 and his dog is updating right now and you guys get some type of timeout?

I too had flawless update over the weekend of a half dozen files or so.


This morning the server sent an email with 470 updates.

Interesting part is this is a 7 dot 3 server.

Went to check the repo's that are enabled via browse to server-manager and I have no access.

Command line server-manager works and shows SME sever 8.0 repo and it was enabled.

Can someone please check your software settings to see if that repo shows enabled on a 7.3 system.

I know the SME sever 8.0 repo wasn't on the list last week and I didn't install or enable it that's fur sure.

Unless the update added the repo to enable upgrade to 8.0.... could it be, but it defaulted to enabled, not good.

Got the same on my other server, only difference is this server was setup last week.
The other one experiencing the problem has been up for a while.

The new one shows it's up to date and no problems.
