« on: October 12, 2008, 05:52:11 PM »
Dear all, sorry if I'm using the wrong topic to ask this question, Really I have installed SME server 7.2 in my house all work fine,  however I locking for a way to create automatically backup during the night, but with specify characteristic, for example I have installed a USB external Hard disk to do so, The question is:  if exist some Web Interface that can I install on SME server that permit from the client machine configure and management all functions that a backup tool have (Schedule, monitoring, select a fodder to backup, restore specify folder o document).

Note:
1. I'm using two Ibay named : academic and the other share
2. I have using roaming profiles (So I need to backup all profiles data (My Documents, Cookies, Home Drive, etc))

P.D I have 250 GB of data and the standard backup tool in SME is not the best way  :-(

I really appreciate your contribution, due to I have more that 6 month without do a backup
Thanks in advances

Or more general, the wiki as a good source of documentation for SME Server has some suggestions as well:
