How to use webmail without https?
« on: October 28, 2008, 06:39:08 PM »
How can we change redirect webmail to http instead https?

(needed for framed/forwarded domains without https) and cases of

blocked company firewalls that only open Port 80.

Thanks Tom

Keep in mind the server-manager panel that controls webmail will only allow you to set webmail to disabled or ssl.

Once you have webmail enabled (ssl) in the server-manager, ssh into your sme box:

1. config imp setprop imp access nonssl

2. signal-event email-update

Once you do this, you'll be able to access webmail with regular http access.  However, the server-manager will show webmail as disabled.
