Topic: DC login problem

the windows client was allowed to join the domain w/ the admin PW, but after I reboot the windows client it will not allow me to login to the DC!

bump for some clarification so that I might get some more help:

I am trying to make the e-smith my Domain Controller as well as my router/gateway. I turned it on in the console. I joined the Domain successfully from this client machine, but I can't login when XPprof starts up on this machine. I have created the user named "user0" and set the password countless times. However, everytime I try to login to the domain Controller (the e-smith box) it says that it's not available or soemthing like that.

XP requires a registery edit to enable it to join a Samba domain HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\netlogon\parameters "RequireSignOrSeal"=dword:00000000 Also ensure you are running Samba 2.2.1 or higher.
