Download documentation

Hi,

It's been a while since I've been to Contribs.  I haven't had a need to update my server for a while...it just keeps ticking along.  However, my brother wants to set up a server for his home and wants to use SME.  Currently he does not have access to the internet (long story) so I've download the latest ISO for him, but he needs offline access to the Admin Manual (and other documentation).  I have a very old PDF version of the manual but I see that documentation is now done in wiki form with no obvious way to get access to it offline.  Is there a way to download the documentation?

Perhaps this might help: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Export

Catus,

Thanks very much for your reply.  I looked at wiki export but from what I could understand it was intended for exporting to another wiki environment, and I don't know anything about how to set up such a beast.

However, I did find a work around.  At the bottom of the index page for the admin and the user manuals is a link called "One Page Administration Manual" and "One Page User Manual" respectively.  I loaded these pages and then used Firefox's "Save Page as..." command to save a copy of the entire manual.  Obviously there are links in the manual that point to other online addresses that will not work offline, but, for the most part, the manuals are complete, including all graphics.

Problem solved.

Thanks again.
