New contrib : Ovidentia
« on: December 08, 2008, 03:14:37 PM »
hi guys,

I just created my first sme server's package. It's Ovidentia, an open source content management and collaborative plateform written in php/mysql.

I'm at work and that's why, I have no ssh/ftp. That would be possible to sent my contrib to anybody through an email please ?

Regards.

It would be preferred if you would sign up as a developer and have your contrib imported in SME Server CVS and do your development there. For more details have a look here: http://wiki.contribs.org/Package_Modification

I would like to upload my contrib on the sme's repository but the sourceforge's login page is down for a while...

There's another way to upload my contrib ?

You can only get your contrib in the SME Server repositories if your source code is in the SME Contribs CVS that is hosted on sourceforge. You will need the developer access for that first.

I just want to know if anybody have the same problem with sf.

Anyway, don't worry I have understood very well that I have to do thanks to the wiki's page.

No I can access the links from the wiki without any problems, as a additional service: http://sourceforge.net/account/registration/

Hi,

I just created a bug report on the bug tracker but I have no answer. Actually, I wonder if I submit my query properly in order to become a SME contribs developer for my contrib.

My bug report :

Give it some time, the development team is limited in persons and time. There is more work involved than only listing you. We also need to import your SRPM and do some basic configuration as well as a review of your contrib.

hi guys,

I would like to upload my contribs on the sourceforge's repository but I'm not yet accepted like a sme contribs developer.
I have posted a bug in the bug tracker as it's written in the wiki.

Do I forget something ?

I have really improved (much better than modsecurity) the building process and I'm very respectful of the developer's guide because I almost copy the phpmyadmin's specfile in order to get a similar one.

Ovidentia :

http://deblogtoi.com/public/informatique/SME_Server/ovidentia-6.7.4-4.noarch.rpm

Last question :
there's nobody on the devinfo list or it's because of my mail spam filter ?

That one is not completely rewritten yet, so that would be a wrong one to start with.

No it is a mailinglist (you have to be subscribed before you receive messages), send a message and people who know the answers or have tips will help you out. The core devs and all contrib developers are subscribed to that list so I suggest you start with posting a message there.
