Hi all
I just setup e-smith and it looks great but I seem to have a problem.
My external interface(eth1)
I have assigned it a live (legal) ip, now
I can ping it from inside the network (dhcp'd win2k client) from the machine itself I can ping the interface (ping the ip )
Now I have swapped network cards,flyleads and the ports on the switch,I have no irq conflicts and the box looks happy:-)
But I cannot get that card to talk to the outside world ;-(
any ideas ?
My routing also looks right
I am out of ideas here
