I am having an issue with Backup with Dar. I wasn't sure where to post this and have found nothing on the forum or bugzilla. The server is SMEServer 7.3 and e-smith-backup-1.15.0-17.e14 contrib. Everything work great for several months, then about three weeks ago I stopped getting backups. The software is configured to backup to an I-bay on a remote SMEServer over the VPN.
The software configuration is as follows
Type of share is CIFS
workstation ip is 192.168.X.X
backup share is corp01bk
login name is admin
password is XXXXXXXXX
number of rotating backup sets = 13
daily backups per set = 7
workstation backup time =8:30pm
optional backup session timeout = 8
don-t timeout full backup session is checked
backup compression = 5
fullbackup is set to everyday
I have 5 other backups going to I-bays on this same server over the VPN and they are all working fine.
Since everything has worked since day one I really do not know how to troubleshoot the problem.
The only thing I can tell you is in the e-mail that is sent to admin from the software is I get an error the says "mount error: mount point /mnt/smb does not exist". Are there any log files that I can get better information from and is there an easy fix?
