Kplaylist Question ?
« on: January 20, 2009, 12:10:11 AM »
I have successfully set up Kplaylist (http://wiki.contribs.org/KPlaylist) and I want to set it up to see a specific directory inside an ibay. I have followed the instructions in the  Adding more sources but I am a little lost.

How do I verify the do this ?

Verify that Apache (www or shared) have read/write access to the new folder and files.

It keeps telling me that no files found. Now I have my music inside a folder and then its organized into different genre. I think my problem is that I dont know how to verify that apache is seeing the shared folder.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Have a look at the log files around the time you tried and received the error. There should something be logged in /var/log/httpd/error_log or /var/log/httpd/access_log.

I suspect this is a PHP application so you might be running into the PHPBaseDir restriction more on this in the wiki: http://wiki.contribs.org/PHP#Open_basedir_restriction
