Ron, you really need to provide more information:
- where did you see this notice, on a workstation?
- what were you doing at the time?
- How often does this notice comes up?
- Please describe how your SME server is configured (gateway?).
- How is the server connected to the Internet (router?)  Any other devices between the server and the Internet?
-  How is your server connected to the local network (switch or switches?).  Any other devices?

Also check /var/log/messages (or in server-manager, under view log files) and see if there is anything unusual at the time of the notice.

If it does not work out of the box, please fill in a Bug Report @ Bugzilla (http://bugs.contribs.org)  - check: http://wiki.contribs.org/Bugzilla_Help .  Thanks.

Anyone know how to get rid of this error message.

My guess is that this is a message from Internet Explorer, and you will get rid of it by using a different browser and perhaps use a different client operating system. But if you answer Chris's questions, you might get better guesses.

My guess is that this is a message from Internet Explorer...

Google tells me that it is Firefox. Most advice around seems to suggest disabling various "personal" firewall products, and one, at:

http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=1&comments_threshold=0&comments_parentId=97998&comments_offset=40&comments_per_page=20&thread_style=commentStyle_plain

says to toggle the configuration of network.dns.disableIPV6 in about:config within Firefox.

This doesn't appear to have anything to do with SME server.
