Hi all,

We implemented a firewall/router other than SME (not my idea) and in doing so had to configure the SME server to "server-only" mode. I need to address some port-fowarding issues but this feature is not accessible in server-only mode. I only want to get the port numbers that used to be forwarded, is it possible to view a .conf or db variable for this information?

Thanks in advance,
Grattman

Is viewing the port forwarding relevant in server-only mode. Can SME perform any port forwarding in this mode ? I thought not.

I would have thought you would have been looking at the firewall / router for that in your config situation.

I was thinking the same thing.

Having another firewall thrust upon you doesn't mandate use in server mode only, even if it is unnecessary/undesirable. SME and the other router can be configured for use in line. Did you also have a change in cabling thrust upon you which removed  usage of the SME wan interface?

I tried several different configs to get the two to play nicely. The end scenario was that the SME had to be in server-only mode to work with the firewall.

No (which is why the feature is disabled in the server manager).
