Recommendation for small, fanless, diskless and power-saving hardware

Hopefully, I'm not off-topic here. If yes, sorry about that.

I want to install a small SME-server for limited IMAP use and OPENVPN access to my network.

Related to that I'm looking for a hardware, which is...

  • capable of that in terms of efficiency and performance
  • compatible with SME integrated drivers (network etc.)
  • fanless, diskless and power-saving hardware
  • very quiet
  • small dimensions (not that important)

Do you have recommendations? Experiences?

Any applicable comment and links are welcome.

If you underclocked one of the Celeron CPUs, you might be able to disable the fan.  My guess is the fan in this thing is nearly silent.

I know you can disable the fan in one of these, as I've done it:
