Topic: Problem with installing sme 7.4 on VMare 6.5

I searched the forum  and couldn't find anything close.

I installed sme server 7.4 on vmware workstation, all goes well, until i get to the point of setting the default gateway......when I hit enter, it comes back to the same point (setting the default gateway) and won't go forward or finish.

1 nic
Bridge mode


I accepted all the dhcp/lan/dns/subnet  default settings.

What could be wrong?

Try using the TAB key to navigate directly to the Next button, and then press Enter. Does this help?

What could be wrong?

Server gateway IP cannot be the same as server local IP.
