Hello,
I'm trying to get an XP-Pro machine with XPUnlimited software to join my SME domain/workgroup. (XPUnlimited turns regular XP PC's into terminal-servers so that more than 2 users can login remotely and use the PC. It's legal, and great when it works...)
The XPunlimited software says it can find the PDC and verify users with it, however when I reboot the PC the login screen does not show the domain, and the XP Computer Name properties still show it as member of a Workgroup, not a Domain. I've done the standard things like creating groups for "Domain Admins" and "Domain Users", etc
This is what the SME "messages" log shows about the PC joining the domain:
Mar 10 12:22:46 vm-sme esmith::event[4712]: Processing event: machine-account-create xpu$

Is that what it's supposed to be, especially the lines about "Locking account" and "Locking password"?
Are there other SME logs that will help in solving this?
Thanks,
Marcel
