Hi All,
Im running a network which is fully managed. I wish to monitor my SME server via SNMP, but i cant seem to find any info on enabling SNMP in the forums or various How-To's out there.

Can anyone help????


Im trying to monitor the server with Compaq Network Management, and to have a Compaq Enterprise switch return traps if there are problems on the Server.

you can install snmp in esmith, I have installed the follow rpms:
ucd-snmp-4.1.2-8.i386.rpm and
ucd-snmp-utils-4.1.2-8.i386.rpm

I use snmp with squid
