sail-2.3.1.1 is now available from the download site. This is the first stable(ish) dahdi release. Before installing, please read fully the quickstart guide and ensure that you have the correct SME kernel release installed.
http://sarkpbx.com/twiki/bin/view/Main/DocChapter03csail-2.3.1.1 has been tested with X100P (FXO), TDM4xx (FXO|FXS), TE121PF/BF (T1|E1), TE122PF/BF (T1|E1) and Xorcom/Astribank analogue and PRI usb cards. Digium BF cards are (according to Digium and our experience) prone to instability with the 2.6.9 kernel and we would not recommend using them. This is probably also true for any of the Digium range fitted with the 32 channel DIGVPMADT032F EC daughterboard. If you have a requirement to run this board then you will need to run SME8.0. We have tested SAIL-2.3 on that platform with these units and thus far have had no problems (other than the odd 8.0 related glitch).
Finally, there is a bug in the Digium PCI card recognition routines which causes a crash in dahdi_genconf when attempting to handle PRI boards configured as E1 (T1 is OK). Digium have already fixed this bug in the svn trunk but ATrpms packages don't yet carry the fix. This bug applies to all Asterisk/Dahdi-2.1 installs (whatever workbench you choose).
