To quote Charlie Brady on the reason why the linked bug was closed:

Quote
Anyone who installs php5 is on their own.

If you haven't upgraded PHP5 (the -cgi contrib is fine) and are experiencing this issue, please file a new bug. You can use the "Clone" link on the existing bug if appropriate.

I've read the CLOSED - INVALID bug #5086 but don't understand exactly what happened to resolve this.

I don't make custom templates and I'm having the same problem. I do all of my updates using yum clean all and yum update from the root console. I always follow these with a post-upgrade and reboot.

I ran /sbin/e-smith/audittools/templates and there are a shite-load of things coming up as MANUALLY_ADDED. Not all of them seem to be related to horde but the ones that are seem to be configuration settings made from the horde interface.

Since the bug has been closed is there anyone who can help me understand what it is that took place to resolve this issue for one of the two people involved with the bug?

-E

p.s. I didn't install php5 [PHP 4.3.9 (cgi) (built: Apr 17 2009 19:13:06)]

Then in that case you *have* made custom templates. Nobody but an admin on your system can have created those files.
