In a windows ftp client program it asks for a url or Host name.

What do you use when sme 5.1.2 is the server?????????????????
for your windows 98 ftp client program.
And what setting or required to let ftp work thur sme 5.1.2 ???????????

I am not trying to setup or access a i-bay ftp site but an external ftp site with
sme client windows program.
I read the section and do not understand how to get out to an external ftp
site,
This section is refurring to i-bays within the sme sever, I want to get out
side in the real world.
My ftp client program normal needs,
url or hostname
user name
password

How do I get thur sme ??????

I try to access ftp site thur web brower but it will not give permission.
